American Traveler is hiring an ER RN for a night shift position requiring 18 months of recent Emergency Department experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00pm-7:30am
-
13-week assignment length
-
Required to work at least every other holiday

Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
-
18 months of combined permanent experience in the ER specialty required (preferably within one location)

18 months of recent ER experience required; travel experience is acceptable
-
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)

TNCC certification preferred

NIHSS certification listed as required

One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the ER specialty required (co-worker references not accepted)

COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only

Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only

ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with a passing score required (maximum of 2 attempts)

Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate

Background check findings are reviewed by the facility, but candidates with an open case will not be accepted

No license hits accepted

Nurses are temporarily exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement

Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date

Extensions with the client are allowed for up to 18 months, after which a 6-month break is required
