Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice part time or full time available. This is a growing private practice with 1 dentist. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained and improved. This position requires a thorough understanding of dental procedures, the standard of care, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
- Assist in the documentation of patient medical histories and treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments of patients' vital signs and overall health as necessary.
- Utilize imaging systems to capture necessary diagnostic images.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to patient treatment.
- Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care, including four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Valid dental hygiene license in the state of Georgia.
- Experience with EagleSoft and iTero is preferred but not required.
- Ability to record documentation efficiently and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach towards patient care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
