Make-Ready Technician – Apartment Community
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance/Make Ready Technician to join a busy apartment community team. The Maintenance/make ready Technician will handle general apartment maintenance, complete work orders, prepare units for new residents, and maintain common areas. The Apartment Make-Ready technician position may also assist with light grounds duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will perform general apartment maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs
- Complete resident work orders quickly and professionally
- Prepare vacant units for move-in (make-readies) with painting, cleaning, and minor repairs
- Maintain community common areas and assist with light grounds work
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies as part of the Maintenance Technician team
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Maintenance Technician experience (apartment or multi-family preferred)
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Positive attitude, detail-oriented, fast-paced, and hardworking
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- EPA or HVAC certification a plus
