Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional customer service while facilitating their automotive service needs. You will leverage your expertise in auto service management and customer relations to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.
Duties
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services required, including oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, and other maintenance tasks.
- Write service orders and accurately document customer requests and vehicle issues.
- Communicate effectively with mechanics to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area to enhance customer experience.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Assist in automotive sales by promoting additional services or products that meet customer needs.
- Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor.
- Strong background in service writing with an emphasis on clear communication.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes, including oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, and general mechanic knowledge.
- Sales experience within the automotive industry is a plus.
- Ability to transmit information clearly between customers and technical staff.
