Job Description
· Travel, out of town, for up to two or three weeks at a time.
Working/operating onsite within all aspects of the project.
Communicating and working closely with Project Managers, Safety Director and Site Engineers.
· Responsible for excavating footings, tower foundations, tower anchors, grounding trenches and power and telephone trenches.
· Installs ground rods and ground rings and is responsible for insuring all Thermo Welded joints are acceptable.
· Glues all conduits together in accordance with the site drawings and the site supervisor’s instruction.
· Tie rebar, pour required concrete and is responsible for finishing and rubbing foundations and slabs.
· Backfills and packs all excavations to prevent settling.
· Drives company vehicles to the construction site and uses these vehicles to deliver material to other construction sites within the Continental United States.
· Concrete testing including slump and compression strength tests
· Operation of skid-steers, backhoes, excavators, compacting equipment
· Maintain a good driving record
· Must be able to obtain a CDL within 90 days of employment
· Assist in ensuring trucks and equipment are well maintained and organized
· Participate in daily safety meetings (JSA)
Supervisory Responsibilities
Strong leadership qualities and experience are a requirement.
Must maintain, manage and document accurate records which includes payroll hours and individuals per diem.
· Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel
· Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors
· Training, managing and mentoring employees and contractors
· Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs
· Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets and procedures
· Developing and managing project budgets and quality standards for all sites
· Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably
- · Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officials

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
