Envi Design Studio is currently seeking a to hire a qualified interior designer with experience in large scale residential properties. We are based in the Mountain West and have projects in the West and beyond. The ideal candidate will have developed design and project management skills and will have strong visual and verbal communication skills. This is a full-time position and is an excellent opportunity to further one’s career in Interior Design. You will be joining a creative design studio with good growth potential. Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- 3+ years minimum full time professional experience in the field of interior design and with a focus of high-end residential interior.
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in design related discipline
- Knowledge and experience of the design process from client onboarding through to installation.
- Strong knowledge and experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or both.
- Strong visual presentation skills and the ability to clearly communicate design intent through drawings, sketch renderings and material selections.
- Experience with custom made furniture and experience working with artisans on the fabrication of bespoke furnishings
- Ability to read and review shop drawings from various trades with the ability to comment with clear design direction.
- Must have the ability to direct / mentor junior staff and help staff towards achieving their goals.
- Must have the ability to use create thinking skills to solve problems that come up in the field.
- Excellent at FF&E selections and specification documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to work in the United States
- Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and be able to manage several high priority deadlines simultaneously.
