CMT / Caregiver – Day Shift
Sweetbay Assisted Living – Severna Park, MD
Sweetbay Assisted Living is hiring experienced CMT Caregivers for our boutique 10-resident assisted living home in Severna Park, located just off Ritchie Highway behind Chick-fil-A.
We offer a calm, residential setting with a low resident-to-staff ratio, 24/7 awake coverage, and a strong focus on reliable, hands-on, resident-centered care.
Shifts Available
- Day Shift: 7a–3p
- Extended Day Shift: 7a–7p
- Full-time, part-time, and PRN may be available
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care
- Administer medications according to Maryland CMT regulations and facility procedures
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition promptly
- Support residents with one-person and two-person assist needs
- Help maintain a clean, safe, calm, and organized home
- Complete basic documentation and communicate clearly with management and coworkers
Requirements
- Active Maryland CMT certification required
- Prior hands-on caregiver experience required
- Current CPR / First Aid certification required
- CNA or GNA is a plus, but not required
- Must pass a background check
- Must complete pre-employment requirements, including TB screening, fit-for-duty documentation, and vaccination records
- Must have reliable transportation and a realistic commute to Severna Park
- Must be dependable, professional, attentive, and comfortable working in a small assisted living home

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
