Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders and answering questions about menu items
- Operate POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and service areas
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Restock supplies, ingredients, and merchandise to ensure smooth daily operations
- Uphold food safety protocols and proper food handling practices in accordance with industry standards
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or background in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math for sales transactions and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Capable of standing for extended periods while maintaining focus and energy
- Basic understanding of coffee preparation, serving techniques, and food industry best practices
Pay: $16.90 - $20.00 per hour
