Condominium Law Group, PLLC | Washington
What if you could build a rewarding legal career without sacrificing your life outside the office?
At Condominium Law Group, PLLC, we believe great attorneys should have the opportunity to do challenging, meaningful legal work while also having time to enjoy the people and things that matter most.
We are a small but mighty Washington law firm with a strong reputation in the community association legal field. We provide practical, effective, and timely counsel to condominium and homeowner associations across the state, helping our clients navigate everything from governing documents and vendor contracts to compliance, accommodation requests, disputes, and litigation.
We are looking for an Associate Attorney who is ready to learn, grow, and become an expert in the fascinating and highly specialized world of community association law.
If you have experience or an interest in real estate, contracts, construction, or related areas of law, this is an opportunity to develop a valuable niche practice while working alongside a team that genuinely enjoys working together.
Why You’ll Love Working Here:
We know that a successful legal career is about more than compensation. It is also about the environment you work in, the people you work alongside, and the life you get to live outside of work.
At Condominium Law Group, you’ll find:
- Unparalleled work/life balance - Build a fulfilling legal career without the expectation that your job consumes your life.
- Competitive compensation and excellent benefits - Including generous PTO and comprehensive insurance coverage.
- A genuinely collaborative culture - We share knowledge, support one another, and believe that great work is better when you enjoy the people you work with.
- Mentorship and hands-on training - You don't need to arrive as a community association law expert. We will help you develop that expertise.
- Hybrid flexibility - Hybrid work options are available following successful completion of initial onboarding.
- Room to grow - Develop a specialized area of expertise and build a long-term career with a respected and well-established firm.
- Meaningful client relationships - Work directly with association boards and managers and become a trusted legal resource for the communities you serve.
What You’ll Do:
As an Associate Attorney, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of legal matters while developing a deep understanding of community association law.
Your work will include:
- Interpreting contracts, statutes, governing documents, and other legal authorities and applying them to real-world client situations
- Advising community association clients through their managers and board members
- Providing general counsel regarding governing documents, compliance, and association operations
- Drafting and updating CC&Rs, bylaws, rules, and other governing documents
- Reviewing and drafting vendor contracts and service agreements
- Responding to client questions regarding their legal rights and responsibilities
- Analyzing complex issues and developing practical, solutions-focused recommendations
- Building trusted relationships with clients through responsive, thoughtful, and effective legal guidance
Every day brings the opportunity to learn something new, solve a problem, and make a meaningful difference for the clients we serve.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for more than a résumé. We’re looking for someone who is curious, thoughtful, dependable, and excited to grow.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be licensed to practice law in Washington
- Have an interest in community association, real estate, contracts, construction, or related areas of law
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
- Have strong written and oral communication skills
- Think analytically and approach problems with sound judgment
- Be able to work independently while recognizing when collaboration or guidance is needed
- Have some litigation experience (preferred but not required)
- Be eager to learn and develop professionally
- Be able to retain, organize, and synthesize detailed information
- Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build genuine rapport with clients
- Be comfortable using practice management software, including task lists, billing, document storage, and email functions
- Most importantly, we're looking for someone who wants to build a career, not simply take a job.
Compensation & Benefits:
$80,000 - $100,000 DOQ/DOE
Our benefits include:
- Generous paid time off
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Retirement plan with employer match
- Short- and long-term disability insurance
- Life insurance
- Hybrid work options following onboarding
