American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float position requiring a PA or compact RN license and at least one year of experience.

Float position within a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
-
Patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:8 using a team nursing model
-
Day shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
-
Every other weekend required
-
No on-call requirements
-
Float within scope required to meet facility needs
-
No block scheduling available
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Active RN license (PA or Compact) required
-
BLS certification required; ACLS, NIHSS, and TCAR certifications preferred
-
Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
-
Experience with 1:4-1:8 patient ratios
-
Skilled in cardiac telemetry, respiratory care, and oxygen administration including HFNC and nasal cannula
-
Competency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and emergency response including Rapid Response/Code teams
-
Experience with isolation precautions/PPE, IV therapy/phlebotomy, and peripheral and PICC line management

Experience managing cardiac and vasoactive drips required; titration skills preferred
