Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing attentive service, managing guest orders, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, courteous service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food safety protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly
- Assist with guest inquiries, reservations, and special requests to promote guest satisfaction
- Support team members during busy periods by performing host/hostess duties or other restaurant operations as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
