Family Pet Hospital in Sunset Hills is seeking an experienced, full-time Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to join our team.
We are looking for a client service professional who understands the pace, professionalism, and communication required in a busy companion animal hospital. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a critical role in creating an exceptional client experience while supporting the daily operations of our hospital.
This is not an entry-level position. Candidates with prior veterinary hospital client service experience will receive priority consideration. Exceptional candidates with recent medical or dental front office experience may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and patients in a professional, friendly, and compassionate manner
- Schedule appointments accurately and efficiently for multiple doctors and services
- Manage incoming client communications via phone, text, email, and other digital communication platforms
- Communicate clearly regarding appointments, medical services, treatment estimates, prescriptions, and hospital policies
- Process payments and maintain accurate client records
- Coordinate communication through the hospital's phone system, email, text messaging, and practice management software
- Support veterinarians and technicians by maintaining an organized and efficient daily schedule
- Prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Help create a positive, efficient, and compassionate experience for every client and patient
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years of recent experience as a Veterinary Receptionist, Veterinary Client Service Representative, or similar client-facing role in a companion animal veterinary hospital strongly preferred
- Exceptional candidates with recent medical or dental front office experience may also be considered
- Experience scheduling appointments in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Experience managing client communications via phone, text, email, and other digital communication platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical records or practice management software
- Professional demeanor, dependable attendance, and strong personal accountability
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and compassionate during busy or emotionally challenging situations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with veterinary practice management software (Cornerstone, AVImark, ezyVet, Impromed, or similar)
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology
- Experience discussing treatment estimates, payments, and client education
- Experience working in a multi-doctor companion animal practice

Position Details
This is a full-time position. We are seeking a long-term team member who is committed to providing exceptional client service and contributing to a positive, professional veterinary practice.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
