Job Functions
§ Have an advanced understanding of plumbing equipment and plumbing supplies, including their operation and diagnosis. Able to diagnose and service most plumbing issues without assistance.
§ Troubleshoot, diagnose and make necessary plumbing-related repairs for residential and commercial customers, including, but not limited to: studying and analyzing blueprints/floor plans of plumbing and water supply system layouts; navigate the assembly and installation of water and sewer pipes without interfering with existing infrastructure; measure, cut and bend pipe material; replace/install equipment, assemble valves, fitting, tubes, water system appliances and supply/drainage lines; install building water and drainage systems; inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality and code compliance; backflow testing.
§ Selection of the appropriate diagnostic and repair charges from the plumbing price sheet, including labor, materials, subcontractors and equipment usage.
§ Maintain proper level of truck stock items from the Plumbing Cage inventory at all times.
§ Daily communication with Plumbing leadership team, including immediately when an assigned project falls behind average repair times, any safety, plumbing and/or customer issues. Keep informed of status of all jobs and quotes.

Required Base Qualifications
▪ Demonstrate mechanical aptitude ▪ Operate power, hand and plumbing tools/equipment safely

▪ Invest time in training seminars and classes
Additional Preferred Qualifications
▪ Backflow Prevention Certification ▪ Journeyman License (or in the process of getting)
▪ DPH Certification (Certified Septic Installer)
Compensation and Benefits
● Position pay range: $23.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on skills, experience, attitude, and
performance.
● Additional Compensation: 5% Commission on jobs quoted, accepted and completed
with recap (profit analysis) completed.
Insurance: Medical Insurance after 60 days of full-time employment.
Dental Insurance after 60 days of full-time employment.
● Training and Education: There will be periodic training from various equipment
manufacturers, local utilities, national industry associations and in-house. These
training sessions will be both mandatory and voluntary.
● 401K: Retirement program starts after one year of employment.
● Vacation
40 Hours or one week after first year complete on anniversary date
8 Hours or one day additional are earned on second-sixth anniversary date
80 Hours or two weeks max vacation total after sixth year complete
● Holidays: Six (6) paid holidays after first complete year.
New Years Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Christmas
● Uniforms: 25% of the cost covered by Conditioned Air Systems.
● Company Cell Phone: 100% phone costs.
● Vehicle: 100% vehicle gas and maintenance.
Key Performance Indicators
Certain key business indicators that will measure the effectiveness of the Level 3 Plumbing
Technician includes the following:
1) Adhere to CAS safety and plumbing policies and procedures.
2) Number of calls not completed in a timely manner.
3) Accuracy of paperwork, charges to customers, efficiency of Service Trade usage and
documentation in a timely manner.
4) Number of times calls fall behind schedule.
5) Number of call-backs each month.
6) Number of times equipment/parts are not used or installed improperly.
7) Cleanliness of vehicle and work areas.
8) Vehicle repairs and/or tool repairs because of neglect.
9) Number of times truck stock is not on assigned vehicle.
10) Number of warranty call backs each month.
11) Number of sales leads quoted (minimum of 4 per month).
12) Number of quotes sold (65%+ closing).
13) Take at least the minimum required CEU’s per year to ensure all license(s) stay current.
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
