Job Title: Automotive Service Writer
At Performance Plus Automotive Repair , we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch automotive repair and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a driven, customer-focused Automotive Service Writer to act as the vital link between our customers and our expert service technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and explain recommended services clearly and transparently.
- Service Coordination: Write comprehensive repair orders, schedule service appointments, and manage work flow in coordination with the shop technicians.
- Status Updates: Keep customers informed throughout the repair process and ensure vehicles are ready on time.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as an automotive service writer, advisor, or in automotive customer service.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Proficiency with shop management software (e.g., Tekmetric, Quickbooks) is a strong plus.
