Hoffman Towing is seeking to fill the position of Tow Truck Drivers/ Roadside Assistance Technicians in the Lake Placid area. This is a fast-paced industry where you are tasked with responding to disabled vehicles and helping the customer to get back on their way. Vehicle mechanical experience is preferred, but not necessary.
Qualifications:
- Must reside in the immediate Lake Placid area, or willing to relocate there upon being hired - This area would include Saranac Lake, Wilmington and Keene area.
- Active and valid driver’s license - Approval of license history by insurance company (Driver's Abstract will be requested from all applicants)
- Be self-driven, motivated and work well without direct supervision.
- Work well with the public, roadside service providers, insurance companies and other employees.
- Pass insurance companies' background checks
- Be a team player
- Good communication skills.
- Be able safely operate a large truck, enter and exit a truck multiple time during a shift and safely load and unload vehicles.
- Be willing to work weekends and be on call overnight to respond to calls.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
