Nature Medica is a well-established naturopathic and integrative medicine practice in northwest Tucson seeking a compassionate, patient-centered Nurse Practitioner to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping patients, especially women, achieve optimal health and vitality, and who has a genuine interest in natural, integrative, and preventive approaches to healthcare.
Dr. Judy Gianni, a leader in naturopathic and integrative medicine in the Tucson community, has been helping patients achieve better health for over 31 years. The right candidate will have the opportunity to receive mentorship and training in hormone balancing, functional medicine principles, and integrative approaches to patient care
This position will begin part-time (1-2 days per week) with the opportunity to expand hours as patient demand grows. We offer scheduling flexibility and are willing to provide training in areas of integrative and functional medicine for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient evaluations and follow-up visits
- Order and interpret laboratory testing
- Prescribe and manage bio-identical hormone replacement therapy when appropriate
- Perform women’s health services, including Pap smears and well-woman exams
- Collaborate with our team of naturopathic physicians and healthcare professionals
- Help support patients with preventive, wellness, and chronic health concerns
Ideal Candidate:
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Arizona
- Experience in primary care, family medicine, women’s health, hormone therapy, or functional medicine preferred
- Strong interest in integrative, natural, and preventive healthcare
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Open-minded, compassionate, and eager to learn
- Comfortable working as part of a collaborative healthcare team
