Under general supervision, uses knowledge and skills obtained through experience and training to support Finance department initiatives, operational improvement efforts, AI enablement activities, and enterprise project execution across financial reporting, controllership, and related finance functions.
This role serves as a key partner in advancing Finance priorities related to financial reporting, close execution, process governance, data quality, technology enablement, and business transformation.
Working closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, the role helps identify process pain points, assess root causes, evaluate business impacts, and recommend practical solutions.
The position plays an active role in identifying opportunities to improve processes, leverage technology, and enhance organizational efficiency.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and solutions -oriented, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and tactical execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Partners with business leaders, technology teams, and risk partners to support AI governance, adoption, and operational alignment.
Supports operational priorities across Finance, including financial reporting, close, controls, data, reconciliation, and process improvement workstreams.
Identifies , tracks, and escalates key risks, issues, dependencies, reporting impacts, and operational considerations.
Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements, define deliverables, monitor progress, and drive accountability across initiatives.
Operational Improvement & Innovation
Identifies opportunities to improve financial reporting processes, operational efficiency, communication, and workflows through optimization, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities.
Recommends improvements to reporting, tracking, documentation, reconciliation, and workflow processes.
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership Support
Finance Department & Organizational Support
Contributes across financial reporting, controllership, operations, technology enablement, process governance, and transformation efforts.
Maintains awareness of Finance priorities, enterprise initiatives, regulatory considerations, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Operational improvement, process optimization, change management, and organizational effectiveness concepts.
Business operations, stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and reporting practices.
Risk management principles, governance frameworks, internal controls, and reporting controls preferred.
Financial reporting, accounting operations, close processes, financial services operations, products, and regulatory environments preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s: Accounting, Bachelor’s: Business Administration
