Position Overview
We're seeking dedicated Wound Care Physicians to join our team. Create your own schedule—providing advanced wound care with no weekend or holiday call. This opportunity is ideal for physicians in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, General Surgery, or those with part-time hospitalist experience looking for a flexible, rewarding role.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive wound evaluations (size, depth, tissue type, exudate, periwound condition).
Develop and update evidence-based wound care plans per current clinical guidelines.
Apply advanced modalities including negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT), advanced dressings, biologics, and debridement techniques.
Monitor for infection and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers per Missouri scope-of-practice regulations.
Educate patients and caregivers on wound-care techniques, nutrition, and pressure-injury prevention.
Accurately document all patient encounters and treatments in our EMR system.
Ensure strict adherence to state regulations, CMS guidelines, and agency policies.
Required Qualifications
Active Missouri Medical License (MD or DO)
Specialty- Internal Medicine, Family Practice, General Surgery, or related specialty
BLS certification
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within assigned metro areas
Compensation & Contract Details
Pay: $150per patient visit
Schedule: Monday-Friday coverage; (no weekends or holidays required)
