Job Summary

Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses accurately to inform treatment adjustments
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting to promote independence
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Support teaching sessions focused on communication, social skills, and functional life skills tailored to each client's needs
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling medical records and client information
- Collaborate with team members to develop and update care plans that reflect client progress and changing needs
Requirements
- Valid Registered Behavior Technician certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or willingness to obtain within specified timeframe
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies
- Ability to collect detailed data accurately during therapy sessions and document findings in compliance with medical documentation standards
- Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and team members
- Understanding of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and patient care settings
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care while maintaining professional standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Flexibility to work various shifts including afternoons, evenings, or weekends as needed

Pay: $27.04 - $32.56 per hour
