Join our dynamic team as a Quality Assurance/Food Safety Team Lead, where you will spearhead initiatives to uphold the highest standards of food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities
- Conduct water activity verification.
- CCP checks and verifications.
- Manage incident reporting and conduct updates of the food safety system.
- Ensure food safety, product quality, and workplace safety.
- Train employees in food safety processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with Facility Leadership to develop strategies that enhance production processes and ensure compliance with safety, food safety, FDA, and SQF standards.
- Provide support for food safety audits.
- Work with sanitation team regarding corrective actions and swab tests.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Required Skills and Qualfications
- 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience in food manufacturing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Experience working with an ERP System a plus.
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Three to five years related experience and or training.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
