Responsibilities
Store Operations & Logistics
- Daily Management: Direct all daily retail operations, ensuring peak efficiency, store cleanliness, and strict compliance with corporate franchise standards.
- Logistics Oversight: Supervise the processing, packing, and sorting of all incoming and outgoing shipments via UPS and USPS networks.
- Return Management: Coordinate the intake, scanning, and secure handling of high-volume automated corporate return programs, including Amazon and Happy Returns.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain optimum stock levels for retail packing materials, office supplies, shipping boxes, and moving equipment.
- Cash Handling: Oversee daily financial reconciliations while maintaining suitable cash on hand for daily operations
Team Leadership & Development
- Talent Acquisition: Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard customer service associates capable of working in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Performance Training: Train staff on advanced packing techniques, print production equipment, upsell strategies, and point-of-sale (POS) workflows.
- Staff Scheduling: Build and optimize weekly employee schedules to balance operational budgets with peak business hour coverage.
Sales & Customer Experience
- Escalation Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for complex customer service issues, successfully resolving complaints to maintain brand loyalty.
- Print Services Expansion: Drive print revenue by consulting with small business clients on custom print layout, binding, and wide-format design projects.
- Mailbox Sales: Manage the rental, renewal, and federal compliance documentation (Form 1583) for physical and digital business mailboxes.
- B2B Marketing: Execute local marketing campaigns and build partnerships with local businesses to secure commercial accounts.
Qualifications
Experience & Education
- Management Background: 3+ years of retail store management or assistant manager experience, preferably in logistics, shipping, or business services environments.
- Academic Minimum: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
Certifications & Legal Requirements
- Notary Public: Currently commissioned as a Notary Public, or legally eligible and willing to obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and federal fingerprinting clearance for mailbox handling compliance.
Technical & Print Skills
- POS & Software: Proficient in retail Point of Sale (POS) systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and multi-line phone systems.
- Design Tools: Familiarity with graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva, to assist with customer print layouts.
Physical & Schedule Capabilities
- Physical Strength: Capability to regularly lift, slide, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs. independently, and up to 75+ lbs. with assistive devices.
- Flexible Availability: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including mandatory rotating weekend shifts, opening/closing duties, and extended holiday peak season hours.
Pay: From $38,000.00 per year
