Responsibilities

- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement, effective behavior management techniques, and clear communication.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and team members to support each child's individual needs and developmental goals.
- Incorporate educational elements such as tutoring or homework assistance to reinforce classroom learning.
- Lead recreational activities including sports coaching, arts and crafts, theater, or other engaging programs that promote physical activity and self-expression.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety standards, and program policies related to childcare and early childhood education.
Skills
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create an organized and disciplined environment.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles to support age-specific needs effectively.
- Experience in working with children in various settings such as daycare, camp, babysitting, or tutoring roles.
- Certification in first aid and CPR to respond confidently in emergency situations.
- Familiarity with special education strategies to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Ability to implement behavior management techniques that foster positive social interactions.
