Construction Manager/Superintendent
ABOUT THE ROLE
At LifeStyle Custom Construction, our work follows a deliberate path — from the first conversation through design, pricing, and a fixed-fee contract — and it all comes to life in the field. The Construction Manager / Superintendent is the person who makes that final phase happen: running our projects on-site, leading our trades, and delivering the quality and the experience our clients were promised.
This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced builder who can take a finalized scope and turn it into a finished kitchen, bath, whole-house remodel, or custom home — on schedule, on budget, and done right. You'll be the face of LifeStyle on the job site and the steady hand that keeps everything moving. If you take pride in running a clean, organized, well-run project and live by doing what you said you'd do, you'll fit right in.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the construction phase of each project from pre-construction handoff through final walkthrough
- Take ownership of the plans, scope, and schedule at the pre-construction meeting, before the build begins
- Schedule, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors and trade partners to keep work sequenced and on time
- Manage day-to-day site operations — progress, materials, deliveries, and quality control
- Uphold our standards for craftsmanship, cleanliness, and professionalism on every job site
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, keeping them informed and confident throughout the build
- Track progress, daily logs, and schedules in our project management software, and report costs and status back to the office
- Partner with our Estimator & Pre-Construction Analyst on scope, budget, and any change orders that arise in the field
- Identify and solve field problems early, before they affect schedule, cost, or quality
- Enforce job-site safety and ensure work meets code and passes inspections
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3-5 + years of hands-on experience in residential construction, with field leadership or supervisory responsibility
- Proven experience running custom homes and/or high-end renovations from start to finish
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, sequencing, and building codes
- Ability to read and execute from plans, drawings, and a detailed Scope of Work
- A track record of managing subcontractors and trades and holding them to schedule and quality standards
- Excellent organization and the ability to run multiple projects or phases at once
- Comfort with technology — able to work in construction management software (such as JobTread) for scheduling, logs, and communication
- Professional, client-facing communication — you represent us well in someone's home
- Strong problem-solving instincts and a calm, solutions-first approach in the field
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily travel between job sites
- Relevant certifications — e.g., OSHA 10/30, EPA RRP Lead-Safe, contractor's license — as applicable
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive salary depending on experience [+ performance bonus]
- Vehicle or truck allowance / continuing education]
- A growing, well-organized company that values doing things right over doing them fast — and a real path to lead our field operations as we grow
