POSITION SUMMARY
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for providing direct behavioral health services to individuals under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT implements individualized treatment plans, collects data, assists with skill acquisition programs, and supports individuals in achieving greater independence and improved quality of life.
The RBT must maintain professional conduct, protect client confidentiality, and provide services in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) standards, Medicaid requirements, state regulations, and ELITES CARE LLC policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Direct Client Services
- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the supervising BCBA.
- Provide one-on-one behavioral therapy services to clients.
- Teach communication, social, adaptive living, self-help, academic, and behavioral skills.
- Utilize evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
- Assist clients in reducing challenging behaviors through approved intervention strategies.
- Reinforce positive behaviors and skill development goals.
- Promote client independence and community integration.
Data Collection and Documentation
- Collect accurate and objective behavioral data during each session.
- Complete required session notes and documentation within established timeframes.
- Maintain detailed records of client progress and behavioral observations.
- Report significant incidents, concerns, and changes in client status to the supervising BCBA immediately.
- Ensure all documentation meets payer, regulatory, and Company standards.
Collaboration and Communication
- Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions, and training activities.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Follow all treatment recommendations and clinical directives provided by the supervising BCBA.
- Maintain professional boundaries with clients and families.
Safety and Client Rights
- Ensure client safety at all times.
- Follow approved crisis intervention procedures when necessary.
- Protect client rights, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
- Report suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, or rights violations immediately in accordance with state laws and Company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential in good standing with the BACB.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass all required background screenings.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while following supervision requirements.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
Preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Education, Human Services, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disabilities, Developmental Disabilities, or Behavioral Health diagnoses.
- CPR and First Aid Certification.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The employee may be required to:
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and sit for extended periods.
- Lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds.
- Participate in physical activities required to support clients.
- Respond quickly to behavioral or safety situations.
- Travel between service locations as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Services may be provided in:
- Client homes
- Schools
- Community settings
- Day programs
- Clinics
- Recreational environments
- Other approved service locations
Work environments may involve exposure to behavioral challenges, loud noises, community settings, and varying environmental conditions.
COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS
The RBT shall:
- Maintain active RBT certification throughout employment.
- Complete all required annual training and competency requirements.
- Maintain current CPR/First Aid certification if required.
- Comply with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
- Follow BACB Ethical Standards and all applicable federal and state regulations.
- Successfully complete ELITES CARE LLC orientation and ongoing training requirements.

- Deliver services professionally and ethically.
- Maintain a high level of reliability and attendance.
- Submit documentation accurately and on time.
- Follow all treatment plans and supervisory directives.
- Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with clients, families, referral sources, and team members.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
