Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to perform various tasks related to concrete work on construction sites. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various projects, including foundations, slabs, and walls.
- Operate concrete mixers and other machinery safely and efficiently.
- Perform concrete finishing tasks to ensure a smooth and durable surface.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for framing carpentry, drywall installation, and flooring installation as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on the construction site.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in concrete labor or related construction roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with frame carpentry, drywall installation, flooring installation, and roofing is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics is highly desirable.
- Experience using hand tools and operating construction equipment safely is essential.
- A strong understanding of construction site protocols and safety measures is required.
