You will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive and compassionate care to our individuals, ensuring their safety, well-being, and optimal development.
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Register Nurse specializing in Pediatrics to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to pediatric patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Care:
- Manage and administer medications and treatments following physician orders.
- Continuously assess and monitor the individuals' conditions and needs.
- Implement appropriate actions based on patient assessments and respond to changes effectively.
- Document all care actions and individual responses to treatment in medical records.
- Manage vital signs, interpret data, and identify potential concerns.
- Provide skilled personal hygiene assistance while maintaining dignity and respect.
- Monitor individual's intake and output (I&O) and intervene as needed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans and goals.
- Foster normal development and psychosocial adaptation through therapeutic interventions.
- Advocate for the individuals and their families, respecting their privacy and rights.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license and BLS certification
- Previous experience in pediatrics is preferred
- Knowledge of pediatric care best practices and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
