Job Overview
MT Plate Diner is a diner located in beautiful Arcadia right on scenic M-22. We serve Breakfast and Lunch 7 days a week from 7am to 2pm with extended hours Thursday - Saturday until 8pm. We are seeking experienced, friendly servers to join our team. The ideal candidates possess a friendly positive attitude.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Issue bills and accept payment
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred.
- Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
- Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
