Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced R&R Technician specialized in automatic transmissions. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with the removal and installation of automatic transmissions in different types of vehicles.
Main Responsibilities
- Remove and install automatic transmissions in cars, trucks, and other vehicles.
- Properly disconnect and reconnect transmission components, wiring, sensors, lines, and related parts.
- Safely raise and secure vehicles using lifts and shop equipment.
- Identify and follow the correct procedures for removing and installing different types of automatic transmissions.
- Inspect components before installation and report any issues found.
- Verify proper transmission installation and operation.
- Work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Use hand tools, power tools, transmission jacks, lifts, and other automotive equipment
Requirements
- Previous experience removing and installing automatic transmissions is required.
- Experience working with different types of automatic transmissions.
- Ability to work with automotive tools and shop equipment.
- Ability to diagnose basic installation-related issues.
- Good mechanical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
- Own tools are preferred/required.
Schedule
Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
