Job Summary
The Food & Beverage Offsite Catering Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily food and beverage operation. This role requires a strong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences while managing staff, inventory, and events. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality, leadership and strong experience in running catering events, with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of food and beverage operations, including staffing, training, and performance management.
- Able to drive Box Trucks, Sprinter Vans and operate lift gates
- Oversee on site and off site catering events.
- Organization skills needed to review, pack, load and drive to events and able to efficiently set up events.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Oversee inventory control processes to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with culinary teams to ensure menus and food production meet standards and enough product is available for event.
- Ability to work hands on next to team members on the front line serving, cleaning and leading.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for both guests and staff.
- Utilize POS systems for efficient order processing and reporting.
- Build a strong team focused on service excellence.
Skills
- Proficiency in point-of-sale systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- In-depth knowledge of hospitality principles within the food industry.
- Experience in On Site and Off Site Catering (Required)
- Familiarity with bartending practices and beverage management.
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory control processes.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and motivation.
