Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Barista to join our team in a fast-paced drive thru café environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, ensuring that each guest receives exceptional service while enjoying their favorite beverages. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and providing a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards while handling food and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer experience.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices within the café or food industry is essential.
- Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers is preferred.
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively assist customers and work as part of a team.
