The Assembler supports the production of advanced electronic systems by assembling, inspecting, and testing electronic components, sub-assemblies, and finished products. Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and finished products in accordance with work instructions, assembly processes, and engineering drawings.

Utilize microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.

Read and interpret assembly procedures, process documentation, and work instructions to complete tasks accurately.

Perform assembly work on components ranging from microscopic to large-scale parts, using visual magnification when required.

Use hand tools such as tweezers, rulers, and cutters, as well as pneumatic tools including torque drivers and screwdrivers.

Maintain accurate production records and complete data entry related to manufacturing processes.

Follow quality standards and manufacturing procedures to ensure compliance with production requirements.

Collaborate with team members to improve production throughput and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Adhere to ESD procedures and safe handling practices when working with sensitive electronic components.

Basic computer skills, including the ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and production documentation.

Ability and willingness to learn industry standards such as J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610.

Experience with electrical assembly and/or microelectronics manufacturing preferred.

Knowledge of ESD (electrostatic discharge) procedures and proper handling of electronic components.

Familiarity with electronic test equipment and measuring instruments.

Experience using hand tools and precision assembly equipment.

High school diploma or GED required.

Eligibility to obtain a security clearance, as required for the role.

Experience with electrical assembly, wiring, soldering, or electro-mechanical assembly preferred.

This role is based in Chelmsford, MA, within a production environment focused on advanced electronic and microelectronic systems. The standard schedule is a 1st shift, Monday through Thursday from 4:00PM to 2:30 AM, with the possibility of overtime based on production demands. The facility operates on a 4/10 schedule, providing every Friday off. Employees will work with microscopes, electronic test equipment, measuring instruments, hand tools, and pneumatic assembly tools while handling sensitive electronic components. The environment emphasizes quality, precision, adherence to ESD procedures, safety, and collaboration in support of continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
