- Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals while managing multiple stops throughout your shift.
- Load and unload merchandise with proper techniques, including heavy lifting and merchandising tasks, maintaining safety standards at all times.
- Engage with customers professionally to confirm deliveries, answer questions, and build positive relationships that foster customer loyalty.
- Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging sales skills to enhance customer satisfaction and company revenue.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and communication with dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report any maintenance issues promptly, and ensure automobiles are transportation-ready at all times.
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial driving or automobile transportation is highly preferred.
- Retail store experience or familiarity with merchandising enhances your ability to manage product handling efficiently.
- Strong math skills for pricing calculations, inventory management, and route planning are essential.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations ensures compliance during all driving activities.
- Organizational skills are vital for route management, delivery scheduling, and maintaining accurate records.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout your shift is required.

Pay: $24.70 - $29.74 per hour
