REQUIREMENTS:

Previous experience not required – training and certification will be provided in-house/off-site.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for longer periods of time.

Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
-
Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
-
Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
Successful completion of Swim Instructor training is required during initial on-boarding training (training provided on-site).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility and communicate the rules of the facility.

Ensure that medical services are contacted by appropriate means when necessary to respond to an emergency.

Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.

Present professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintain a high standard of customer service.

Provide swim instructions based on the Blue Gems Swim School curriculum.

Complete accident/incident reports as necessary.

Perform various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.

Assist with closing and securing the facility.

Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
