We are looking for teacher to work with our after-school program for elementary school during the school year and full-time for next summer. Person should be able to work in a team environment, energetic, ability to supervise and follow instructions. All employees required to be vaccinated against Covid. Experience working with elementary school kids is a plus. Person should be able to supervise and develop work plan for the students. Applicants should be creative, able to supervise homework and engage in games and sports. An Associate degree or CDA is a plus. Applicants must have experience working with kids. Job is listed as part-time but might be able to accomodate full-time working half day in another class.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in various activities after school.
- Provide childcare and ensure a safe environment for all children.
- Implement educational and developmental activities based on child age groups.
- Utilize first aid skills when necessary and ensure the well-being of all children.
- Collaborate with other staff to create a structured and fun after-school program.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
