Thrive Maine Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed mental health therapist to join our growing outpatient team. We are looking for a clinician who values quality care, enjoys working collaboratively, and appreciates the flexibility to manage their own schedule while receiving consistent support from leadership.
This position offers the opportunity to provide outpatient therapy to adults, adolescents, and/or children through a hybrid or fully remote model. Clinicians have the autonomy to build their schedules, collaborate with experienced case managers and psychiatric providers, and focus on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and establish diagnoses.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on client goals and clinical needs.
- Provide individual outpatient psychotherapy using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches.
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with MaineCare, HIPAA, and agency standards.
- Collaborate with case managers, psychiatric providers, primary care providers, schools, and community partners to coordinate care.
- Participate in supervision, consultation, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
Required
- Active Maine licensure as an LCPC, LCPC-C, LMSW-CC, LCSW, or other license eligible to provide outpatient psychotherapy in Maine.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience using electronic health records.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred
- Experience providing outpatient therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults.
- Familiarity with CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, or other evidence-based practices.
