Group Home Manager
Pay: $17.20–$18.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time
We are looking for a caring and reliable Group Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential home for individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, support residents and staff, and help maintain a safe and positive living environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the group home
- Support residents with daily living activities
- Ensure compliance with agency policies and state regulations
- Maintain resident records and documentation
- Administer medications according to policy
- Communicate with families, healthcare providers, and support teams
- Transport residents to appointments, day programs, and community activities
- Respond to emergencies and ensure resident safety
- Assist with supervising Direct Care Professionals
- Remain available by phone to communicate with staff and management as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to pass background checks and required screenings
Physical Requirements
- Ability to assist residents with lifting and transfers as needed
- Ability to remain active and on your feet throughout the shift
