Buffalo Prairie Care Center is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring compliance with infection control standards, state and federal regulations, and facility policies.

- Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff.
- Conduct daily inspections of resident rooms, common areas, and facility grounds to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control policies.
- Monitor housekeeping supply inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Assign daily work schedules and prioritize cleaning tasks.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching and corrective action when necessary.
- Assist with cleaning duties when staffing levels require.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Respond promptly to resident, family, and staff concerns regarding housekeeping services.
- Maintain accurate departmental records and reports.
- Participate in quality assurance and safety programs.
- Collaborate with other departments to promote excellent resident care and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, CDC, CMS, and state regulations.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous housekeeping experience required.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, hospital, or healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and environmental services standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, walking, standing, and pushing carts.
- Full-Time
- Some weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities may be required.
