About the Role
We're seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of our corporate office facility. This part-time role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in keeping a workspace safe, functional, and well-maintained. Responsibilities range from everyday repairs to occasional larger installation projects.
Responsibilities
- Complete standard work order requests in a timely manner
- Repair and adjust interior/exterior doors, hinges, closers, and locks
- Replace and repair lighting fixtures, bulbs, and ballasts
- Repair or replace damaged ceiling tiles
- Perform general drywall, paint touch-up, and cosmetic repairs
- Address minor plumbing issues (faucets, toilets, clogs)
- Install and service equipment such as water fountains/bottle-fill stations
- Assist with furniture assembly, fixture mounting, and office reconfigurations
- Conduct routine facility walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs
- Maintain basic tools/equipment and keep an accurate log of completed work orders
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing all repairs
Qualifications
- Prior experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a related trade preferred
- Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- There are opportunities for larger projects if your qualifications are sufficient
Pay: $25.00 per hour
