Campus Operations Coordinator, Higher Education
Graduate America is seeking a highly organized and experienced Campus Operations Coordinator to support the daily operations of a college campus. This position is ideal for someone with prior experience working in a college, career school, vocational school, trade school, or higher education environment.
This is not an entry-level receptionist role. The Campus Operations Coordinator will help support campus leadership, admissions, academics, student services, faculty, compliance documentation, and day-to-day administrative operations. The ideal candidate understands how a campus operates, can manage multiple priorities, and can help keep students, faculty, and staff organized and supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily campus operations and administrative workflows
- Assist with student onboarding, enrollment documentation, and campus communication
- Maintain organized student files, forms, records, and internal tracking documents
- Support faculty scheduling, classroom needs, attendance tracking, and academic documentation
- Assist with LMS-related coordination, including student access, course setup support, and basic troubleshooting
- Coordinate communication between admissions, financial aid, registrar, academics, student services, and campus leadership
- Help track student progress, attendance concerns, missing documents, and follow-up items
- Support campus events, orientations, tours, meetings, and student activities
- Assist with compliance documentation and internal audit preparation
- Provide administrative support to campus leadership as assigned
- Maintain professionalism when working with students, faculty, staff, visitors, and external partners
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a college, career school, vocational school, trade school, or higher education setting
- Strong administrative, organizational, and follow-up skills
- Experience working with student records, enrollment documents, academic files, or campus systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, student information systems, CRM systems, or LMS platforms
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and student-focused
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LMS platforms, SIS systems, CRM tools, or student portals
- Experience supporting admissions, registrar, academics, compliance, or student services
- Career college or vocational school experience
- Knowledge of attendance tracking, student files, program documentation, and campus operations
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has worked inside a college campus before and understands the importance of documentation, follow-up, student service, compliance, and communication. This person should be able to support both students and staff while helping campus leadership keep daily operations organized and moving forward.
Work Environment
This position is campus-based and requires regular interaction with students, faculty, staff, and leadership. The role requires professionalism, urgency, confidentiality, and strong attention to detail.
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
