Duties
- Prepare and fillet fish and seafood items with precision using knife skills and meat cutting techniques.
- Package seafood products efficiently while maintaining food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist customers in selecting seafood, offering expert advice on freshness, preparation methods, and cooking tips.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fish counter, ensuring all equipment and work areas adhere to food safety regulations.
- Restock displays regularly to ensure product availability and visual appeal.
- Support food production and preparation activities as needed in the store’s kitchen or prep area.
- Ensure all food handling practices meet industry standards for hygiene, safety, and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food production, food preparation, or a related kitchen environment is highly desirable.
- Strong knife skills and experience in meat cutting or fish filleting are essential.
