Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Rental Shop Manager to lead our rental operations with enthusiasm and expertise. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily store operations, including rental transactions, sales, and customer service interactions
- Manage inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to optimize product availability and profitability
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, employee orientation, and ongoing development to build a motivated and knowledgeable team
- Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, POS system management, and shift management duties with accuracy and integrity
- Implement effective merchandising techniques to enhance product presentation and drive sales growth
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and team meetings to promote a high-performance culture
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, store policies, and operational procedures while fostering a positive customer experience
Skills
- Strong management skills with proven experience in retail store or rental shop leadership roles
- Excellent communication skills including managerial communication, phone etiquette, and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for pricing and financial calculations
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, recruiting, interviewing, training & development, and team supervision
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively
- Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques, merchandising strategies, stock control, and operational management
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Leadership qualities with experience in shift management, sales management, budgeting, and operational oversight
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, inventory control, and store maintenance
- Experience in retail sales team management combined with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
Seasonal with option for all Year Round - Salary Commensurate with Experience.
