We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Carpenter/Site Foreman to lead construction projects on-site and complete excellent carpentry and remodeling work. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency in home remodel management. This role involves overseeing daily operations, leading and training crews, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project timelines and quality standards. The Carpenter/Site Foreman will play a critical role in coordinating activities, managing resources, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. The Carpenter/Site Foreman is required to do all of the technical operations of a carpenter that a general labor is not yet capable of doing. The laborers will assist and be trained over time to be more like the Carpenter/Site Foreman, we expect this role to be filled by someone who will set a good standard and model for the laborers and the company as well as completing professional work that leaves clients happy and wanting more.
Duties
- Supervise and complete daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide work processes
- Oversee safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations; enforce safety procedures among all personnel
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary, communicating with the Owner and Project Manager to record progress and ensure the timeline is being met
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and labor hours for reporting purposes
- Ensure all work is performed according to contract requirements, specifications, and industry standards
Requirements
- At least 5 - 8 years of construction and remodeling experience
- Proven experience in construction/remodeling management with a strong background in supervising teams and completing construction and remodeling tasks
- Capable of completing work without additional supervision, demonstrating the ability to be trusted with the impact and reliability of the company
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and enforcement of safety protocols on-site
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with supervising experience in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics; experience with electrical and mechanical systems necessary
- Knowledge of pipeline construction or heavy civil projects is desired
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients or project managers
- Valid management certification or relevant credentials preferred
