Line cook Description
- Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques and a strong understanding of food safety practices.
- Cooking Tickets that coincide with company standard cooking times. (Appetizer 8-12minutes/Dinner Entre 18-25 minutes)
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain high standards of quality during busy services.
- Team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Passion for culinary innovation and a desire to contribute to a unique and memorable dining experience.
As a Line Cook What You'll Be Doing
- Set up and stock kitchen stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for dinner.
- Assist in other areas of the kitchen when needed.
- Follow recipes
- Preparing ala cart Menu items and Batch cooking
- Communicate when items are close to being out of stock.
- Clean and maintain the kitchen and its equipment
- Comply with all food-handling, safety, and sanitation guidelines as provided
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working cooperatively with staff and guests

Requirements
- 3+ years working knowledge of kitchen equipment and its proper usage
- ServSafe® Certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment
- Willingness to learn and follow the direction of the Kitchen and General managers and be a team player
- 3+ years previous experience as a cook is preferred. Experience in catering, buffet, and/or full-menu dining is a plus.
Work Environment
- Operates in a kitchen/prep area environment
- Moderate to loud noise
- Frequent exposure to variable temperature changes and steam
Physical Demands
- Ability to Bend, Squat, Run & Physically React in a Prompt Manner
- Ability to use hands and fingers in grasping, pinching, chopping, pulling, and lifting motions associated with preparing and cooking products using knives, utensils and cookware
- Ability to Lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for very long periods of time
