Service Advisor Manager | August European

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Manager o join our professional team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring their automotive service needs are met with the highest level of expertise and care.
The ideal Service Manager will balance a deep technical understanding of European vehicles with a welcoming, customer-first attitude to bridge the gap between our shop and our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Service Advisor, you are the face of our service department. Your daily contributions will include:
- Customer Engagement: Greet clients warmly, assess their vehicle needs, and establish a relationship built on trust.
- Detailed Documentation: Accurately translate customer concerns into clear service requests for our technicians, detailing necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Expert Estimating: Prepare comprehensive estimates for a variety of services, including tire service, precision alignments, air brake repairs, and auto body work.
- Proactive Communication: Maintain consistent contact with customers regarding vehicle status, timelines, and any additional service recommendations.
- Team Collaboration: Partner closely with our service technicians to ensure every repair meets our high-quality standards and is completed on schedule.
- Records Management: Keep meticulous records of all transactions, service histories, and customer interactions.
Qualifications & Experience
We are seeking an individual who is not only a great communicator but also technically proficient.
- Technical Background: A background as a mechanic or service technician is required. We believe the best service advice comes from those who understand the inner workings of a vehicle.
- Industry Experience: 5-10 years experience as a Service Advisor or a similar role within the automotive industry is required.
- System Knowledge: A strong understanding of automotive repair processes, including air brake systems, alignments, and tire services.
- Software Skills: Familiarity with auto estimating software and modern automotive repair tools is a significant plus.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that is easy for clients to understand.
