American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Trauma ICU position requiring a KS or compact RN license and advanced certifications.

Position is in a 20-bed Neuro Trauma ICU within a hospital setting
-
Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
-
Care for neurological and trauma patients requiring intensive monitoring
-
Uses Cerner EMR
-
Every other weekend is required
-
Active KS or compact RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
-
NIH Stroke Scale certification required

Completion of CPI Blue Card Nonviolent Crisis Intervention or MOAB De-Escalation Course prior to start; onsite course completion during orientation

Nursys verification needed within 30 days before start

Must provide US Social Security Number and valid US home address

Duties include managing critical neuro and trauma patients in a high-acuity environment

Team-oriented ICU environment with support during orientation

Must work every other weekend as part of the regular schedule

COVID-19 vaccine is not required

Radius rule applies for local candidates, who may receive reduced rates depending on distance
