Full Job Description
WB Electric has been in the industry since 2001. We have active job sites throughout Knox County. We have a group of highly skilled electricians, apprentices, and top-notch office staff. We specialize in new residential home construction. We are looking for someone who knows how to be a team player, motivated to perform quality work, takes ownership of their position/responsibilities.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Demonstrates basic knowledge and proper use of hand tools
Effectively prioritizes daily tasks, manage downtime, and communicates issues to peers and leadership; escalates issues to supervisor
Reads and follows instructions regarding daily expectations, requirements, or specifications
Accurately completes all work order and quality paperwork
Reports environmental, health, and safety concerns to leadership
Maintains a clean and sanitary working environment
Follows all safety procedures and participates in safety training; maintains safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person; reports any injury or accident immediately to supervisory and/or any unsafe condition
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience: The minimum requirements below are representative of the education and experience required to perform this job successfully.
- Technical certification preferred but not required
- Basic technical skills include:
- Mechanical
- Troubleshooting
- Hand Tools
- Interpersonal skills include good verbal and written communication, good time management skills and the ability to follow rules and directions
- Leadership skills include a positive attitude, being a team player and self-leadership
