Duties
- Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, updating records, and verifying insurance information
- Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision and professionalism
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the process
- Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems accurately to document patient encounters, diagnoses (ICD coding), and treatment plans
- Manage medical supplies inventory and ensure sterile environments for outpatient or inpatient procedures
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program with current certification status
- Proven experience in medical office environments
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medication administration protocols
- Experience working with EHR systems and familiarity with ICD coding for accurate documentation
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
