Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Driver to transport customer wheels between our facility and dealerships, body shops, tire stores, and other commercial customers. This position is essential to keeping our production schedule running smoothly while providing excellent service to our clients. Wheel repair and collision experience is a huge bonus
Over time, you will receive paid, hands-on training in:
- Wheel repair and refinishing
- Alloy wheel straightening
- CNC wheel machining and lathe operation
- Surface preparation and painting
- Color matching and finishing techniques
- Wheel inspection and quality control
- Customer service and logistics
Our goal is to develop every employee into a highly skilled technician capable of performing every stage of the repair process. Having Prior painting expierence is a major bonus!
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver customer wheels according to daily routes and schedules.
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload wheels without causing damage.
- Inspect wheels upon pickup and delivery for accuracy and condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and electronic records.
- Communicate with customers professionally during pickups and deliveries.
- Coordinate with production staff regarding delivery priorities.
- Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Assist in the shop with organizing inventory or other tasks when deliveries are complete.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Dependable with excellent attendance.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple stops.
- Basic smartphone and GPS navigation skills.
Preferred Experience
- Automotive, tire, painting, wheel, or dealership experience.
- Experience driving cargo vans or light-duty trucks.
- Familiarity with route planning and commercial delivery
- Wheel repair, Straightening, CNC Use
