Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of property management practices, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to tenants and property owners. This role requires a proactive approach to property leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations, ensuring that properties are well-maintained and occupancy rates are maximized.
Responsibilities
- On-Site Staff Management: ensure performance of team and that assignments are completed timely and correctly; support and enable team to ensure that the staff is dressed professionally and communication is effective and professional towards all customers, internal and external.
- Screening, interviewing and selecting tenants
- Financials: Closely monitor overall financial health of the property; ensure spending decisions are in-line with ownerships’ goals; keep track of all invoices and pay on time.
- Vendor Management: establish and maintain new and existing vendor relationships; ensure vendors complete work adequately and completely; negotiate with vendors on potential projects
- Resident Relations: communicate with residents daily, walk property and interact with residents to maintain a positive relationship, help with conducting tours for new prospects
- Reports and Payroll; ensure all reports are submitted on-time, are compliant and can be recorded accurately.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of property leasing processes and Fair Housing regulations.
- Proficiency in property maintenance management practices.
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Exceptional phone etiquette for effective communication with tenants and vendors.
- Sales skills to effectively market properties and close leasing agreements.
- Strong customer relationship management abilities to enhance tenant experiences.
- Experience using property management software such as Yardi is preferred.

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
