At The Center at Hampton House, our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are the heart of our mission. You will be responsible for providing direct care and support to adults who are diagnosed with intellectual disabilities and autism participating in our In-Home and Community Support Services. In this role, you will facilitate community-based activities that promote social engagement, independence, and the overall well-being of our participants.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Support: Provide hands-on care and support during community-based activities and within participants' homes.
Skill Development: Assist participants in developing and maintaining social skills, independent skills, and successful community integration.
Plan Implementation: Execute individualized plans and activities as outlined by the Program Specialist and Administrative Team.
Documentation: Monitor and record participant progress, behaviors, and achievements; maintain all necessary logs and reports.
Safety & Advocacy: Ensure the safety and well-being of participants during community outings, volunteer experiences, and home visits.
Daily Living: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed to ensure participant comfort and dignity.
Communication: Maintain regular contact with the administration team regarding progress, updates, or concerns.
Environment: Foster a supportive, positive, and inclusive environment that aligns with organizational policies and regulations.
This position offers a flexible schedule with both full-time and part-time opportunities. This is a community-based role requiring frequent local travel. Service areas include parts of Bucks County, Montgomery County, and North Philadelphia, which will be determined by your caseload.
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
